Please note - the black coating on the knife blades is exactly that, a coating. It WILL come off the cutting surface of the knife and other bit blades. The durability of this coating is NOT covered under Leatherman lifetime warranty.

LOCKING
BLADES : All the blades of the Leatherman Wave (new version) MultiTool
lock. Both internal screw driver blades and external knife/file
blades will lock in position for safety. Release of the blades
is simple via one of 2 blade release switches.
